アイルランド音楽やダンスを楽しむ集まりのことを「ケーリー」といいます。
中国、四国地方でも愛好家があつまるケーリーをやりたい！と言い続け、
２０２４年１１月、岡山・玉野で第一回を開催。中四国地方のみならず、関東・関西・中部・そしてアイルランドや韓国からも参加者が集まり大変な盛り上がりを見せました。

​２０２５年、第二回は香川県琴平にて開催。地元の方の多くのサポートを得て、訪れる方も地元の方も楽しめるイベントに大きく躍進。ケーリーバンドも西と東の２バンドが集い、東西交流の場にもなりました。
​関わってくださったすべての方には感謝しかありません。
 

せとうちケーリーを通じて、古参メンバーも、新しく興味を持ってくれた方も、
地元の人も、遠くからから来る方も、老いも若きも、年齢・性別・国籍・職業問わず誰でも「アイルランドが好き！」を一緒に楽しめること、そして瀬戸内地方の魅力を再発見してもらえることを心より願っています。

 

Welcome to Setouchi Céilí website.
A social gathering you can enjoy Irish music and dance is called a “Céilí”.
We have been hoped to have Céilís in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions where lovers of Irish music and dance can get together, just like metropolitan area!
In November 2024, the first Setouchi Céilí was held in Tamano, Okayama. It was a great success, attracting participants not only from the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, but also from Kanto, Kansai, Chubu, and even Ireland and Korea!

In 2025, it was held in Kotohira, Kagawa Prefecture. Thanks to the generous support of the local community, the event took a major leap forward, becoming an occasion enjoyed by both visitors and locals alike. Two céilí bands—one from the west and one from the east—came together, making it a venue for cultural exchange between the two regions.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who have contributed to this event.

The Setouchi Céilí is an event where everyone, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or occupation, can enjoy “I love Ireland!”.  I sincerely hope that everyone can enjoy this event together and discover the charms of the Setouchi region.
